Foreign Land has celebration exhibition next Wednesday
It will take place on next Wednesday, November 2nd, 7:20 pm, at Cine Bombril, the exhibition celebrating 10 years of the film Foreign Land. The directors Walter Sales and Daniela Thomas will be present at the special session.The film portrays the solitude lived by the immigrants. The story is about Paco and his Spanish mother, who wish to know the land of their ancestors. Without any money, due to the money confiscation promoted by Fernando Collor’s government, Paco agrees in delivering a mysterious package – for the mysterious Igor, in Portugal in exchange for the travel’s expenses. After losing the package, he meets Alex, a Brazilian girl who works as waitress in Portugal and lives with Miguel, a smuggler musician addicted in heroin. Escaping to Spain, Paco is hunted by bandits interested in the package, in which there was a violin full of diamonds.
