6th Youth Festival wants more young people on the 29th São Paulo International Film Festival
On the 29th BR Festival Film – São Paulo International Film Festival, the traditional Youth Festival – free and exclusive sessions for High School students, in its sixth edition, was extended, accomplished in association with the State Education Department.The 6th Youth Festival begins, on the next October 24th, with two big productions. Don’t Come Knocking, by Wim Wenders, and Dear Wendy, by Thomas Vinterberg, at Cine Bombril.
Among the Brazilian films programmed for the 6th Youth Festival, it stands out Cafundó, by Paulo Betti and Clóvis Bueno.
To close the 6th Youth Festival, on November 3rd, it will be exhibited the film All the Invisible Children, a project that gathers eight celebrated filmmakers: Kátia Lund, Emir Kusturica, Spike Lee, John Woo, Jordan Scott, Ridley Scott, Mehdi Charef and Stefano Veneruso.
Cine Bombril will have two daily sessions: at 10 am and at 2:30 pm. The access is made by presenting the student card and scheduling with Ivete, on the phone (11) 3266-5115.
